Rebecca Cruise Therapy
Welcome! My name is Rebecca and I am a Creative Psychotherapist with a specialisation in Play Therapy. Creative psychotherapy with play therapy is a therapeutic approach to support children and teenagers to understand and process their inner worlds at their own pace. Through relationship the child can begin to process challenges which may be impacting daily life and thus allow space for growth and development.
I am a pre-accredited member of IAPTP (Irish Association of Play Therapists and Psychotherapists).

What’s Involved?
What is Play Therapy?
Play therapy is a form of therapy which utilises the child’s natural form of communication - play. The therapist works to develop a strong therapeutic alliance in which the child can explore their inner world, thoughts and emotions.
Who is Therapy for?
Creative psychotherapy and play therapy practices are beneficial for all ages. I incorporate creative practices in my work with children, teenagers and parents. Creative and playful methods support the individual to access and process unconscious thoughts.
How does it work?
Therapy services begin with caregiver consultation sessions which aim to both gather information and equip the caregiver. Following consultation, children and teen sessions are 50 minutes in length. Regular review sessions will be scheduled with caregivers on an individual basis.
